Jonathan Hickman continues his streak of writing comics that I love with his second issue of Fantastic Four. In it's early going, this book has included all of the ingredients needed to inject some excitement back into everyone's favorite super hero family. This story arc is perfect for new readers, but packs in enough of a new twist for FF veterans as well. Dale Eaglesham's art is tight and also brought a new direction to the look of the family, which worked for me.

The third issue cant be released soon enough!

Ken's Pick:

Superman: Secret Origin #1, for me, did everything a first issue should do.  It introduced all the major players of the story, set up the motivations of both hero and adversary, and most importantly, it got me hooked into the series right at the beginning, making me want to demand issue #2 right now.  Similar to Geoff Johns' Green Lantern: Secret Origin, I expect this to be less of a reboot, and more of an introduction or expansion of different elements into the Superman mythos Johns has been developing over the last few years, while setting up many stories to come.
