Wow, what a surprise.  I've been reading Adventure Comics since it was relaunched a few months ago and have been loving it each month.  With issue number 4, we're given a break from Conner's story, as he's busy with Clark during the s*!tstorm that is Blackest Night.  Instead we check in with that other Superboy, Superboy Prime, who we last saw at the end of Legion of 3 Worlds (no spoilers here).  I knew it would be interesting to deal with how that book ended, but I did not expect this.  I think Johns took the idea of breaking the fourth wall a little too much to heart with this one, but with excellent results.  Fans (fans?) of Superboy Prime don't want to miss out on this one.

John's Pick:

This has been the key Dark Reign title and it continues to impress. Bendis knows how to write Norman Osbourne and watching his collapse has been a great ride. In this issue, Molecule Man has the Dark Avengers where he wants them and is taking them down one by one. Plus, the origin story of the mysterious and super hot Victoria Hand begins here!

The Deodato cover is a fantastic take on McFarlane's Spider-Man work.
